Who am I, and how did I get here?
I am a married, heteroflexible cis-male engaged in consensual and ethical non-monogamy. My wife and I started engaging in non-monogamy (more specifically: swinging or ‘The Lifestyle’) shortly after we started dating. When I was younger and discovered that threesomes, group sex, and even partner swapping was even a thing that people did, I somehow always knew it was the right fit for me but had no idea about how to get there. That being said, polyamory in the sense of making real connections with other people and exploring new relationships is a pretty new exploration for us.
This blog is intended to expand the conversation around the male perspective of being ethically non-monogamous; what it’s like to date as a male while still being married, fighting through the stigmas that solo men are yoked with in this specific social sphere, and to allow me to share my journey through this wild world that is polyamory and non-monogamy.
